Garden Clearance is a short film sequence shot on Super 8mm by James Greenway. It depicts a short performance for film by Aoife Desmond as part of her body of work ‘Something Momentous Germinating’. Accompanied by a sparse repetitive vocal track (by Aoife Desmond) the movement work consists of a simple action of revealing and hiding behind green painted hands, as the action is located in the overgrown back garden the painted hands disappear into the foliage.
